The Finance Directorate at Oxford Health encompasses several key teams that support the Trust’s financial health and operational efficiency:

Financial Services – which manages statutory reporting, capital spend, credit control, supplier payments, and cash flow.

Financial Management - which collaborates with clinicians and central teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and manage financial risks. 

Procurement -which ensures value for money through contracts and purchasing support, and Patient Finance assists patients with accessing funds and oversees petty cash. 

Business Services & Contract Management – which supports sustainable healthcare delivery, contract governance, and strategic decision-making through data insights.

The Human Resource (HR) services have a key role to play in bringing to life the Trust values of being caring, safe and excellent. To support this objective, the core HR team has been structured into 6 specialised sub teams, which specialise in areas such as HR policy, systems and reporting. The wider HR services include:

Resourcing - Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing and Events, Compliance and Support.

Organisational Development – which encompasses Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and our Occupational Health services.

Learning and Development – whose role is to design and deliver training programmes, manage mandatory and professional development courses and facilitate leadership and management development.

The IT team at Oxford Health supports the Trust's operations by managing secure and reliable technology systems, including hardware, software, networks, and digital tools such as electronic patient records and communication platforms. They provide technical support to staff, ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards, and drive innovation through advanced technology. 

Information Governance advises on the application of legislation such as the Data Protection Act 2018, the Mental Health Act 2007, and the Public Records Act 1958.  Protecting the rights and freedoms of all individuals is at the heart of Information Governance.

The Learning and Development Department at Oxford Health play a crucial role in supporting staff growth and enhancing organisational performance. They design and deliver training programmes, manage mandatory and professional development courses, and facilitate leadership and management development. The team supports apprenticeships, coordinates placements for students, and ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory training requirements. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, they help staff build skills, achieve qualifications, and progress in their careers, ultimately improving the quality of care provided across the Trust.

The Communications Team manages all media and content across internal and external channels, including the intranet, website, staff briefings, and social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, where we’ve earned national recognition. We uphold the Trust’s reputation by keeping the public, patients, carers, and partners informed and confident in our services. Through stakeholder communications, collaboration with internal teams and third-sector partners, and celebrating staff stories, achievements, and awards, we highlight the positive impact of our work.
