Are you experienced in admin and seeking a role in mental health?

We are looking for a full time Performance & Business Manager to join the acute in-patient pathway, part of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will be working across 2 wards based at Fulbrook Centre: Cherwell Ward - an 17 bed Older adult Female Ward, and Sandford Ward - an 14 bed Male Older adult Male Ward.

Sandford Ward and Cherwell Ward provide multi-disciplinary care to older adults experiencing mental health illnesses from Oxfordshire needing specialist in-patient care. The wards are part of a wider patient pathway also providing mental health services.

Both wards are committed to high quality patient care and are also QNOAMHS accredited. QNOAMHS are a standards-based accreditation programme designed to improve the quality of care in inpatient mental health wards/units. Both wards are involved in additional quality improvement (QI) projects designed to improve patient care and outcomes using evidence based practice.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support our teams with a range of tasks such as providing performance and business reports, analysing data and day-to day resource planning in line with the ward budgets. The post also involves line management and leadership of the administrative teams on Sandford and Cherwell Ward

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for the production, analysis and presentation of a range of routine and ad hoc performance and business reports for the team, ensuring that information provided is timely, relevant and accurate.
  • To participate in internal and external meetings, and workshops and act as a central point and expert for queries and information on all matters relating to performance in the team. To provide local performance information as required for onward reporting.
  • Present information to a variety of audiences, drawing conclusions and implications from the analysis ofdata and support team managers with remedial actions
  • To support the Ward Manager in achieving Trust targets on data quality by reviewing reports and monitoring the timely entry and quality of data input.
