Job overview

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting senior finance colleagues to deliver accurate, timely financial accounts and high-quality information that underpins effective decision-making across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

You’ll contribute to the planning, monitoring, control, and reporting of the Trust’s assets and liabilities, helping ensure strong financial governance, integrity, and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your financial accounting expertise, gain exposure to complex financial systems, and be actively involved in improving processes and supporting robust financial management. 

Alongside core accounting responsibilities, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, support audits, contribute to system improvements, and help translate financial information into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
