This is an opportunity to join our Senior AHP Leadership as AHP Workforce Lead on a 12 month FTC maternity leave cover.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic leader who can build strong relationships, influence across professional boundaries, and deliver workforce projects successfully.

Essential criteria
- Demonstrates understanding of professional AHP and corporate issues including governance and compliance
- Ability to effectively promote equality opportunity and good working relationships in employment and service delivery.
- Demonstrates an understanding of AHP workforce development, challenges, recovery and growth
- Knowledge of workforce data sources and how to use them to devise and draft policies
- Good understanding of the wider health economy, local and national priorities, and initiatives
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of postgraduate professional development in a relevant area of practice.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience, skills and knowledge demonstrable
Desirable criteria
- Project management qualification/experience
- Ability to work effectively between strategic and operational activities where required
Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidence of delivery and development of services and holding others to account
- Experience in leading a change initiative
- Experience of motivating and inspiring staff to work together to achieve a common objective.
- Experience of delivering presentations to a range of audiences both internal and external
- Extensive significant experience, within the NHS
Desirable criteria
- Substantial Experience of operating in and delivering priorities in a partnership environment
- Ability to work effectively between strategic and operational activities where required
